Walk into your next assessment prepared
Simple tools to describe your invisible load in your own words, so the people assessing you can see more of your day to day life.
If your disability doesn't show, the hardest parts are easy to miss
You might have a good day on the day of your assessment. You might be so used to coping that you forget how much it takes out of you. Or the people around you might be doing so much that it's hard to see what you'd find hard on your own.
Our tools help you notice these things and write them down, in words you can take to your OT, GP, planner or assessor.
NDIS assessments are changing
From 1 April 2027, NDIS participants begin moving to new framework planning. From 1 January 2028, people applying for the NDIS will have a standardised functional capacity assessment, and current participants will be reassessed over three years.
Being able to describe your day to day life clearly will matter.
