Free large print guide for NDIS participants and families

Getting ready for your plan reassessment

For people whose disability or condition isn't always easy to see. Six pages in large print, with a record you can fill in for two weeks.

Email us at hello@invisibleloadot.com.au and we'll send it to you. You can also ask your support coordinator for a copy.

What's in the guide

  • Start early

Find your plan end date, choose someone to help you, and start a short record.

  • What to bring

Your record, your plan, recent reports, a list of your supports, and your questions.

  • What to write down

Six prompts to help you describe your hard days, the effort things take and the help you get.

  • On the day

How to talk about your usual days and your hardest days, not just today.

  • After your reassessment

What to do when your new plan arrives, and what to do if you disagree with a decision.

  • My week record

A page to print twice and fill in, one for each week.

Three things you can do this week

  1. Find your plan end date

Look in your plan or the my NDIS app, or ask your support coordinator.

  2. Choose someone to help you

Like a family member, friend, support worker or support coordinator.

  3. Start a short record

Each day, write down if it was a good, usual or hard day, and what took extra effort.

On the day, it's okay to

  • Bring someone you trust

  • Ask for a break

  • Ask for a question to be repeated

  • Talk about your hardest days, not just today
